My name is Sharon Tawney - and The Havenaires are my family. My Dad, Joe Leek, has passed away, but Mom, Ada Leek, still lives in Canton. I have a group called "His Servants" based out of Doylestown, OH and my current husband, Virgil Tawney, and my sister, Cheryl Burr, sing with "His Servants" with me in a trio. My first husband, pictured on the website, Steve Miller, passed away with cancer in 1995. Thank you for recognizing "The Havenaires."
ReplyDeleteMy name is Brenda Leek, and the Havenaires are my family, and although we all keep in touch, I live in North Carolina now, and I've been singing all my life as well. Sharon, Cheryl and I thank everyone for recognizing us. We have such fond memories in producing this album with Rite Records.
