  1. Sure "Sweet September" isn't written by Carl Edmondson instead of Edmonton? If so here's what I found

"Carl Edmondson is considered one of the fathers of Cincinnati rock-n-roll, and he (and the Driving Winds name) are still active in the greater Cincinnati area. During the 1960s Carl Edmondson was the guitarist and singer for several bands that used different names but included mnay of the same people. The group was originally known as Eddie Carl and the Emblems (Eddie Carl was Edmondson's stage name) and released a couple 45s on their own label, Oh My records. They changed their name to the Driving Winds when they started recording for Fraternity records in 1963." The Dec 1st 1962 edition of Billboard notes the formation of Oh My records.

Could be, but maybe not - who knows.

  3. I have a song on a K-Tel LP titled "Martian Hop" by the Galaxies. It is NOT the Ran-Dells version. There are several Galaxies groups but I haven't been able to determine which one did "Martion Hop". Could it be this group?
