Glenna Dene was born in 1944 in Evansville, Indiana.  She also recorded on the Eunice record label in 1960-1961 (See Rockin' Country Style)

Writers of "Broken Hearted"  were from Grand Prairie, Texas.  Marshall Page was one of the Original Texas Wranglers, hillbilly group heard on KCLW radio in Hamilton, Texas in the early fifties.

  1. I see it says starday on the label. Is this a starday custom Pressing? I currently have listed (SCP) as 767 – Juanita Smith with the Vanguards – Sometimes I Wonder / Conversational Walk

  2. Yes, it's a Starday custom record. Yes =both 767= are Starday custom.

    But it's not as conflicting as it seems :

    the Starday customer had the choice for his own label name =AND= release number. If he didn't choose any, then the record was issued in the so-called Starday Custom Pressing(even if Starday had no pressing plant!)

    Many more Starday custom records are NOT in the numerical series...
