The Earthmen wasn't a real group, but a studio concoction with John Stetham (aka Johnny Redd) on lead vocals. They also recorded as the Surftones, and other fictitious groups. They worked for Bob Quimby's National Songwriter's Guild, churning out song-poem records. Both sides of this 45 qualify as song-poems.
