Ronnie 2061

Not mentioned on the "Jackie" side is F. J. Cusenza, credited on the copyright as the music composer, while Charles Bultman wrote the lyrics.

Interesting enough, a similar title by Bultman and Cusenza was copyrighted in 1954 : "Mamie; [or] Sweetheart of U.S.A.,".
Frank Jerome Cusenza (1894-1987) was a music teacher and composer. According to his obituary,
he was born in San Vito, Italy, in 1894 and began his musical education at age five. He received a degree at the Royal Conservatory in Palermo, Italy, in 1917 and led a military band during World War I. Mr. Cusenza came to the United States in 1920 and taught music at the Detroit Conservatory of Music, the University of Detroit and the Detroit Institute of Musical Arts. He wrote many music books and compositions…

The voice is familiar.  She certainly sounds quite like song-poem sultry singer Cara Stewart. Actually I think she IS Cara Stewart using the Jane Davis moniker.

The Enalpria on Moonport

The Enalpria

20999 ~ You Keep Me Hangin' On
21000 ~ Purple Haze

Moonport MNPT-100

My name is Ted [Williams] and was a founding member and lead vocalist/guitarist with "Enalpria" in Cocoa Beach during the mid to late 60's. The other members of the group were: Lynn Maddock (Lead Guitar), Kim Holmes (Bass), Bill Ball (Drums) and Danny Rodriguez (Keyboards). We did have two other members initially (Johnny Strong (Drums) and Dennis Brickey (Keyboards) however, they left the band early in our"career" Unfortunately Lynn and Bill passed away a few years back, Kim went on to bigger and better things (Under Secretary of State during the Bush years) and Danny is an unknown.

I  went off to college in late '69 and spent some 20 years in and around Aspen, Colorado working in the resort industry and playing music in taverns, clubs, festivals, etc.

Vera Blum (or Bloom), country singer and musician (electric bass). She started playing music at age 14 and has played in several country bands since then. Vera says she “made a few records but did not have a hit. I used the name Marie Mills because they didn’t think Vera Blum would do anything for the public. Neither did Marie Mills.” Vera lives in Wright City and continues a busy musical career.

Vera Blum was, with Dennis Boren, the main stars of the Oran Brook's All-Star Midwest Opry at the end of the sixties. She still performs today in Missouri with the Silver Wings Band.

Pleasing You is the name of this album. It's also Mike Williams' musical destiny. He sings, plays and entertains from his heart. A purity many musicians never possess.

At the age of 10 Mike sat down at the piano and picked out "What Now My Love.3 since then, he has peformed many songs.  Some of his favorites are here on this, his first album. Mike can be seen and heard "Pleasing You", the public, at various night spots throughout the Glns Falls area. The "Gibson Girl", Heritage Hall in the Glens Falls Civic Center, and at Chateau de Louis.  Mike is also a guest vocalist with the popular Albany based group "The Valentinos"
